Deciding on the table sizes for the wedding reception

Round tables are always best for wedding receptions, it's better to keep the number of people on each table below 8 if possible and try to group the people in age groups if possible.

Menu for the reception

It's a good idea to have a number of menu options available for your wedding breakfast as not everyone has the same tast.

Inviting the guests

Make sure you send the invites out in good time and ensure that you make it clear how to get in touch with you to let you know if they are coming or not. RSVP is always a good idea and maybe even let people email you to let you know.

Seating the guests at the tables

Try not to seat young children next to the people you know dislike children and maybe even give children something to occupy them. A colouring book or somthing similar is usually a good idea. Seat the guests you know get on well together firstly and then work your way down the list. Make sure you sepeare any people who have any history of not liking each other as far apart as possible.
